ETS Surgery to Stop Blushing

ETS Surgery to Stop Blushing-Does it Work?..

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask, has anyone considered or actually had ETS surgery to stop their blushing problem, probably a silly question as I guess we all must have considered it.

I’ve read lots of stuff on the op, it seems that the success rate is around 70% according to the glossy ads, however there are so many stories (forums) from people who have had the blushing operation who are not to happy with the outcome.

I read this morning about a girl who together with her mother worked every hour possible to scrape together £4500 for the blushing operation, had the op & then less than 12 months later she is blushing again and back on med’s.

Does anyone else have experience of this?, how can blushing happen again if all the nerves have been cut..strange.

Please share your thoughts..

    Great info

This used to happen to me several times a day. I actually quit a good job because it made me so unhappy and self-conscious about myself. It absolutely destroyed my self-confidence.

Pretty much cured now tho :)

    Mark,
Yes, I have considered ETS surgery for blushing. Your face looks wonderful in the picture, so I am curious. What is your interest? Have you had the procedure? Do you flush at times and was not flushing in the pic? (as I do at times). ANY information on ETS for blushing would be of great help to me. I have researcehd one physician, and now am quetioning his credentials.
    Thank you,
    Tanya

I agree with Tanya. You don’t look flushed in the picture. You look great actually.

On a separate note, this is totally new to me. I didn’t know blushing could be such a problem that a surgery would be required…

The surgery should be the last option after trying everything else! They dont have to actually cut a nerve, they can just clamp it so that the process can be reversed
