Which Method Helped You Stop Blushing?- Please Share Your Success Stories

Hi Again

It just dawned on me while trying to write everything down that there might be lots of you who have maneged to overcome your excessive blushing and anxiety attacks using different methods and courses. I found 2 such courses online which actually did what they promised to do, plus they work even better when combined with my little tip (more on that soon).

I also came across lots of rubbish as I’m sure many of you have. What I thought would be helpful was if you could leave a little comment and let me know if there were any online courses which helped you stop blushing, then I could see if it works combined with the little tip I came across & let other sufferers have it.

I look forward to hearing about how you cured your blushing, If you’ve had a bad experience, let others know so they can avoid.

Cheers

Mark

If you want to stop blushing you need to get some therapy, pills just don’t work. If you cant afford professional help you may want to try one of the online courses mentioned on this website.

I have had a problem with blushing since i was small, I am also very shy around people i dont really know. I tried lots of things to try and stop my blushing but none of them made the problem go away completly. The best one i found on the internet is a website by Chelsea Schaeffer.

    Hope that helps

Maybe a strange method, but what really helped for me was going online and chat with people on video chatsites as well as on msn or skype with webcam. In the beginning i was shy (like always before in real life), but that was changing after a while. I met some new great friends and it helped me becoming more secure in the ‘real’ life.

I did encounter some blushing problem during adolescent stage. Most specifically when I am called in front to have some speech. Fortunately I have overcome that stage.

My skin complexion is prone to excessive blushing. I’m so glad to have passed by this post. I hope that some of the advice that you have given would be suitable for me to try.

  • Stopping an excessive blushing is not an easy thing to do. That is why I’m so pleased to pass over this post that tackles down some ways on how to atop this excessive blushing.

Blushing can be embarrassing, but it’s important to not mistake it with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosacea. I think Jos’ method is good if the blushing was brought on by a mental factor, but if its physical a physician or drug may be required.

I also used to blush when I was younger, but I think this is more a matter of self composure, which improves when you get older. The mind is actually the most powerful tool in the body.

I have fair skin so this was always an issue for me and still is, I do occasionally get flushed but have learned to see things differently with stress relief meditation, which I found has helped me learn to stay calm in situations where I would normally get really stressed out.

I have something called rosacea which is set off by most anything (temperature change, anger, embarrassment, dryness, heat, alcohol). It causes me to look like I am blushing all the time!

Currently one of the things that is helping me the most is raw aloe vera. I take a “leaf” directly from a plant and use its gel-like insides on my face before I go to sleep. I definitely think it is helping.

Best of luck to you all! I will let you know if I find something else that works.

Hi, I suffered from blushing for several years. My whole face and neck would turn bright red whenever I talked to anyone. Not just pink, bright red. It was so embarrassing and people would always mention it which would make me even more worried about it to the point where I just stopped talking to people.
I finally found something that worked for me and wanted to share it with you. It was on this website http://www.panic-and-agoraphobia.com/hypnosis-for-panic-disorder.html

I used to have a terrible problem with blushing, too. I don’t like talking to new people; it made me feel uncomfortable, and they could see it because I’d often blush. Through simple steps, like speaking to a sales lady about an item I was looking for, or calling a radio station to ask them to play a certain song helped me improve my confidence and definitely lessened my blushing problem.

Thanks so much for sharing some information for us to be able to prevent excessive blushing. Glad to have read over this post.

  • I think you will find the resource in the net but you have to gain confidence by yourselves that can actually help you.

  • Deux Lai says:

Thanks so much for the information and keep up the good work. Will definitely share this with my friends.

  • I think this is natural. But still we can try to overcome this habit, and this post is a good help for it.

I sometimes put a smal cube of ice in my mouth to hold back blushing and it helps as the ice prevents the heat/blood reaction.

  • Actually I never succeeded in stopping my blushing. That is why I found this site :) Thanks for the article.

  • pimple marks says:

Does it mean an auto blush?lols. Blushing is not a bad thing, i think you are blessed if you are blushing easily, because it is one way of taking out your real beauty. Don’t get rid of it.

  • I also have problems blushing. But recently it happens very rare and not that much. I feel the blood in my head, but I feel it is less (and less often too). So I guess I have some success to share :) . What I am doing it to become more calm in general and to not care. I am reading books about the subconscious, about the soul and other interesting thing, that are making me more calm in a way. There are thing you can do with your subconscious that will help in time. Thing you can say to your self to make you more calm. Thing to make you more confident.
Another tips to give are: find out what makes you blush, what you feel, why you feel it. Start working on this things. Change the way you think about yourself. It is an interesting process of personal development. Remember you CAN do anything if you want it. You just have first to know yourself, then change the way you think. It is not easy, but it is worth it. Do it!
